I went out to dinner with a friend tonight and besides having a blast and good conversation… I can now officially say I’ve eaten at Red Lobster and that I’ve tried lobster! Don’t ask me to describe what it tastes like. The only description we were able to come up with is “It’s like steak only fishier.” Oh! And I almost forgot… we also learned what a scallop is (thank you to our server Clark). On the drive there my friend had joked about putting on a seat belt as other cars like to run into me and then as irony would have it a minivan almost backed into me in the parking lot. Thankfully I had fast enough reflexes to put my car into reverse and avoid the collision. But it just goes to show… It’s not my fault! People just don’t see me!
I got the Seaside Shrimp Trio which consists of “A generous sampling of our Walt’s Favorite Shrimp, savory garlic shrimp scampi and shrimp linguini Alfredo.” My friend’s dish was similar but it came with a split Maine lobster tail (which I taste tested) instead of shrimp linguini alfredo. Our meal also came with cheddar-garlic biscuits which are good eating all around.
